Achievement for all at Oxted School
A Science and Mathematics Specialist School

Established in 1929, Oxted School has a reputation for excellence, both locally and nationally, and values achievement in the widest sense.  It is the School’s aim to be an outstanding school with high achieving students who enjoy learning.

With over 2,000 students aged 11 to 18, 400 of whom are in the Sixth Form, Oxted School ensures that students receive the highest standard of pastoral care through the well-established House System. The care, guidance and support given to the students were noted by Ofsted (2011) as being ‘outstanding’.

High quality teaching and learning is a feature of Oxted School, a judgement confirmed by Ofsted (2012). The highly qualified and enthusiastic staff ensure that they meet the educational needs of every student. This is supported by a constant dialogue between school and parents regarding student progress ensuring that high targets are set and all have the means to reach them.

Education is about creating confident and responsible young people. Students visit local primary schools, organise the Senior Citizens Christmas Party and contribute to the local community through the work of the Student Council.

The School provides a wide range of facilities ranging from dedicated ICT suites to excellent sports facilities such as the All Weather Pitch, swimming pool and the newly refurbished Sports Hall.
